For the second night in a row, the NFL Draft topped the night, NBA playoffs continue, and WWE Smackdown bounces back from last week. All that and more on an overall slow night .
As expected, The 2013 NFL Draft topped the night with 3.17 million viewers and 1.4 demo on ESPN. The same telecast on ESPN2 drew 2.46 million viewers (1.1 demo) with the NFL Network posting 973,000 viewers (0.4 demo). Overall, a strong performance for a Friday night.
The highest rated game in the NBA Playoffs occurred at 1040 on ESPN, with 2.88 million viewers and 1.3 demo. The game before that scored a similar 2.89 million viewers and a 1.1 demo.
Over on SyFy, WWE Friday Night Smackdown rebounded from last week to 2.75 million viewers and 0.8 demo. With the NFL Draft complete, I'm expecting another bounce for 'WWE' next week.
TLC's lineup of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta and I Found the Gown totaled 1.39 million viewers (0.5 demo) and 1.27 million viewers (0.5 demo), respectively.
Week three of new drama Da Vinci's Demons posted 382,000 viewers and 0.2 demo, down about 100,000 viewers from week two, but even in the demo.
