  1. david letterman makes more than that -- i thought he got more like 40 million.

  2. It look looks like LL Cool J and and Chris O'Donnell took a pay cut, per last year's blog entry. Is that accurate?

  3. Why the frack to Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galeki get paid more that Jim Parsons??? He's the twice-Emmy-nominated reason people even watch the show.

  4. Good questions!

Anonymous #1 - According to the TV Guide issue this year, he did make $28 million dollars a year. The issue from last year says he made $32 million dollars a year. So while it did decrease from last year, I have no knowledge (at least from TV Guide) that it was ever $40 million dollars a year.

Anonymous #2 - According to the TV Guide this year, they made $125,000 an episode, a decrease from the $150,000 an episode last year. Just to make sure it wasn't a typo on my part, I pulled out the magazine from last year, and it did go down $25,000 an episode.

Anonymous #3 - I'm guessing they were paid more in the beginning because they were the "bigger and more well known stars". However, since the show has taken off, Jim Parsons has become the big star of the show. Cast negotiations for a bigger salary are going on now, which show they could go as high as $300,000 an episode.

    Hopefully this helps! :)

  5. Do you all know anything about the game show host or entertainmnet news magazine host salary?

  6. There was nothing in TV Guide, but I found this info about Mary Hart from Entertainment Tonight...

"Five million dollars is the astronomical sum the iconic anchor was making in the 29th year at the entertainment news show. Hart accepted a pay cut -- which one informed source says amounted to 50% -- in May for one final season."

Considering she is one of the more well known ones, I'm guessing everyone makes under that total. I couldn't find anything for game show hosts, sorry! :)

  7. I can,t believe Miranda cosgrove is paid so much more than all those Disney kids. WOW Nick really pays well!.And David duchovny 200,000 per ep in "Cali" really? seriously? that show is sooo useless. A waist of time and money. Won't watch it.

  8. Yep, Miranda Cosgrove has a really nice paycheck. I'm guessing she had something around what Disney is paying their stars when she was on Drake and Josh. Now that iCarly is their biggest show, they have to pay her big so she doesn't leave.

  9. if you haven't watched Californication you don't know what you are missing.the characters are flawed and real and sadly funny.

  10. Oh, I have seen Californication. I have watched it several times because i am such a fan of David's. But i can't pretend to like a show just because i like an actor. The show is very tasteless and i think is below his standards. He is a much better actor than this show allows.

  11. Why do the today show host talk about how much stuff cost with the amount of money they earn.
Just Sick. Help those in need stop weining, and give

  12. What about Supernatural? What are Jensen and Jared getting paid? I don't give two craps about Misha Collins. I wished he'd go away.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yes, I agree that the hosts of the Today Show are overpaid, but so is almost everybody else on the list. Oh well.

Sorry, I don't have any numbers for Jensen and Jared from Supernatural on the list. Once again, it is from TV Guide, so these are the only numbers that were in there. Sorry! :)
