Round one is over and eight have been eliminated. Here is some of what happened in round one:
*Everybody Loves Raymond (#2) was nearly upset by Kate & Allie (#7) but pulled out a four percentage win. Despite the differences in the seeding, this was the closet of any of the races.
*The biggest blowout belonged to The Andy Griffith Show (#4) which absolutely destroyed Mayberry R.F.D. (#5) by a whopping 74%.
*Seven of the eight races had one of the competitors reach at least 70% of the vote.

Mayberry R.F.D. (#5) - 13% vs. The Andy Griffith Show (#4) - 87%

M*A*S*H (#1) - 74% vs. 2 Broke Girls (#8) - 26%
Murphy Brown (#3) - 70% vs. Cybill (#6) - 30%
Two and a Half Men (#5) - 30% vs. Newhart (#4) - 70%
Kate & Allie (#7) - 48% vs. Everybody Loves Raymond (#2) - 52%
