After two seasons and 34 episodes, TV Land has pulled the plug on the Fran Drescher series, Happily Divorced .
Happily Divorced premiered on June 15, 2011 to 2.41 million viewers and 0.5 A18-49, growing ever so slightly from its Hot in Cleveland lead in. As expected, the show fell in the following weeks, eventually finishing its first season with 1.64 million viewers and 0.4 A18-49. Halfway through the first season run, TV Land renewed the show for a second season.
The show returned in February of 2012 to 1.44 million viewers and 0.4 A18-49, roughly in line with some of the episodes during season one. The season premiere would be the high point for the season, and would not exceed one million viewers in six of its 24 airings. Despite the low ratings, TV Land extended the series from an original order of ten episodes to twenty-four episodes. The second half of season two returned in November 2012 to ratings in line with part one of season two. The show finished its second season (and series) with 1.06 million viewers and 0.3 A18-49.
Despite ratings that were in line with The Exes (and close to Hot in Cleveland), TV Land cancelled an original comedy for only the second time, joining Retired at 35.
