Swamp People was tops on Thursday night, TBS aired a new episode of Men at Work, and two new episodes of Anger Management aired on FX .
It may not be a Duck Dynasty sized hit, but week in and week out, Swamp People is typically the number one cable show on Thursday nights. The latest episode pulled in 4.49 million viewers and a 1.5 demo, not too bad for a show that hardly gets press.
Over on MTV, a new episode of Ridiculousness averaged 1.98 million viewers and a 1.0 demo at 10pm. That led into a new episode of Failosophy, which is pretty much living up to its name. The Ridiculousness lead-out scored 1.07 million viewers and a 0.6 demo (retention of between 50% and 60%).
TBS' Men at Work is doing a solid job in season two. The latest episode was watched by 1.82 million viewers and a 0.9 demo, putting its retention for a repeat of The Big Bang Theory at a solid 70% in the demographic. That is better than most TBS originals leading out of the CBS series.
Charlie Sheen's Anger Management did 1.30 million viewers and a 0.5 demo at 9pm and then shed some of that audience at 930pm, averaging 1.14 million viewers and a 0.5 demo. With over 70 episodes left, one has to wonder if FX is regretting the 90 episode extension.
Eleven seasons in and Project Runway looks like it may soon be headed off the runway. An hour and a half episode performed with 2.32 million viewers and a 0.7 demo, a shell of its former self.
The internet is full of Castle and Supernatural fans. Castle's repeat performances: 1.73 million (9pm), 1.72 million (10pm), 1.52 million (8pm), 1.41 million (7pm), and 1.28 million (6pm). Supernatural had one repeat performance on the day and it scored 851,000 viewers with a 0.4 demo at 11am.
As for CNN, it continued to perform above average with the Boston Marathon Bombings incident remaining in the news. As news of a possible suspect arose at 1am, CNN averaged 1.22 million viewers and a 0.4 demo.
