Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta topped all other cable programming on the night, WWE Raw put up another strong performance, and Bates Motel tied a series high.
VH1's Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta powered its way to first place on the night with 2.94 million viewers and 1.7 demo. A spinoff from Love and Hip Hop, the show has done very well for itself.
WWE Raw continues to be a strong choice for USA and its viewers. The highest rated portion of the three hour telecast was at 9pm, with 4.65 million viewers and 1.7 demo. 'Raw' averaged 4.40 million viewers and 1.6 demo for the entire three hours.
A&E's new hit series Bates Motel rose to tie a series high with 2.93 million viewers and 1.3 demo. The Psycho-esque prequel has done very well, never moving far away from a 1.1-1.3 range.
Week two of Defiance on SyFy took a modest drop in week two. The new episode had 2.40 million viewers (down 12% from series premiere) and 0.8 demo (down 20%). Not a huge number of the show, but nonetheless, it is still good.
National Geographic got a lot of mileage out of the series premiere of Brain Games, which scored 1.58 million viewers and 0.7 demo. This is the highest rated series premiere in network history.
The highest rated NBA playoff game occurred at 1045 (on TNT) with 3.10 million viewers and 1.5 demo.
Over on cable news, CNN began to retreat to normal numbers. After soaring over 6 million viewers on Friday, Anderson Cooper 360 fell back down to 1.04 million viewers. Barring any other breaking news happening, the show will likely be below 750,000 viewers by weeks end.
