In week two of the Southland vs. Harper's Island battle, Southland was clearly the winner. While I enjoy Harper's Island a bit more then Southland, most viewers like Southland more. Southland was watched by 9.6 million viewers, and reached a 3.1 demo amongst 18-49 year olds. Southland retained almost 95% of its audience from last weeks series premiere. Not bad for an NBC show, huh?

Harper's Island on the other hand fell to 8.2 million viewers, and reached a 2.2 demo amongst 18-49 year olds. That's a drop of about 15% from last weeks series premiere. I hope most viewers return to Harper's Island, because last nights episode was very good. I did not expect a lot of the stuff, so be sure to check it out. Next week, Private Practice returns with new episodes, so expect some ratings changes again.

Other Ratings:
Parks and Recreation (Week 2) - 5.9 million viewers, 2.6 demo amongst 18-49 year olds
CSI - 15.4 million viewers, 3.8 demo amongst 18-49 year olds
The Office - 8.2 million viewers; 4.1 demo amongst 18-49 year olds <--highest -="-" 11.6="11.6" 18-49="18-49" 3.4="3.4" 3.5="3.5" 8.0="8.0" a="a" amongst="amongst" demo="demo" hell="hell" href="http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118002544.html?categoryid=14&cs=1" kitchen="kitchen" million="million" night="night" of="of" olds="olds" s="s" source:="source:" survivor="survivor" the="the" viewers="viewers" year="year">http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118002544.html?categoryid=14&cs=1

  1. I love Harper's Island - its a shame its ratings dipped so much. Maybe we'll see a rebound next week - who knows.
