Remember a few weeks ago when I told you that CMT was bringing back The Singing Bee? Well, The Hollywood Reporter now has more information on the revival of the cancelled NBC series. The Singing Bee will premiere on CMT after the CMT Awards on June 16th. It will then move to it's regular timeslot on June 20th with Can You Duet?.
Here are the changes CMT is making:
* 60% of the songs will be a mix of country, 40% of the songs will be other types of music
* The "Bee Dancers" are gone
CMT has ordered 10 episodes of The Singing Bee.
